Blink:
Recently I was searching for an old post when I came upon two classic, forever relevant lists of commonly used clichés and corporate buzzwords. Great stuff!
Read On:
- Authenticity.
- Awesome.
- Busy, Crazy. I’m swamped.
- Collaboration.
- Disruptive innovation.
- Ecosystems.
- End of the day.
- Fake news.
- Start-ups.
- Sustainability.
- Transparency.
- Work/life balance.
OMG!
Cliché (noun): A phrase or opinion that is overused and betrays a lack of original thought. Do you have any clichés to add to the list?

Some of these words / phrases can have a valuable role to play – authenticity, collaboration, ecosystemes for example. The problem is they may become meaningless (through, as you say, overuse and lack of original use) but that doesn’t mean they are useless. With luck and time, their true use and value may return.
